Thee I Spurn

Racism at its best in todays world has surfaced in Channel 4s Big Brother.

There has always been a strong undercurrent of the worst running through in our civilized society, only that in the name of modernisation we have conveniently chosen to ignore them, or rather push them under the carpet.

Even in the India of today, where we claim equality for our less respected bretheren there is very strong undercurrent of the Casteism monster which hides behind a facade.However whenever this monster does surface it leaves behind in its aftermath, a very gory and ugly scene of an artificiallly civilized society.We always teach the worse past in our history lessons.
Even today in our schools or in our parenting we never teach our child about a neutral behaviour for these details.
We never teach them to love all and sultry without any discrimination.
We would, rather make sure that our little one never goes near the sweeper, or never goes out to play without first checking about the credentials of caste of the other children.

For bad or worsre, in the name of modernization, we have been very big hypocrites and a false image of our belief.The good word which is spoken is seldom practised.
This has also happened worldwide.

The recent case of BigBrother in Britian has shown that inspite of modernisation,our society is actually quite shallow.
