Geneva Auto Show

This Saturday was a pleasant weekend for me in a sense that I got to unwind my stress from the past few weeks, amidst some luxury...and some luxury it was.
A beautiful smattering of the who's who from the world of the fast and the furious.

Beautiful sleek models enticing one towards metal more glamorous than their own self.

Yeah if you are wondering what I was doing at a beauty pageant, then think again....sleek metal glittering and basking in the shine of neon glow !

Yes I was at the Geneva Auto Show.
It was nothing short of a spectacle and my dream come true...

There was THE Porsche, Mercedes,Logan at one end ,the Ferrari in another, and the miniscule but ferocious Tata at the other end...Seven Halls, all lined-up with Hot Metal !

Cars which one dreams of , were there for you to see,touch and feel.
I was completely taken over by awe at the sheer scale of the Show.

Enormisity of the crowds was breathtaking.Tens-of-thousands of people, together at one place.People who share similar tastes and passion when it comes to the fast, ferocious Wheels.

There was the Mini offering sparkling water to quench one's thirst evolved from the heat generated by the passionate display of the Metal.

General Motors was not far behind. They were there not only to display the authoritative line-up of cars, but also to take the pride of place in Research and Technology with the "V2V Movement" tracker.
It is a security feature which will be built in to the cars of the future to make them collision safe.They will not collide as they will be able to track the other vehicle coming from some blind alley, well in advance !

It was definitely interesting to see the future of automobiles.How soon it comes to the market is another concern though.
