Lead Us From Darkness To Light
"We meditate on the transcendental glory of the deity supreme, who is inside the heart of the earth, inside the life of the sky and inside the soul of heaven. May he stimulate and illuminate our minds.
"Lead us from the unreal to real, from darkness to light, and from death to immortality. May we be protected together. May we be nourished together. May we work together with great vigour. May our study be enlightening. May no obstacle arise between us."
"Unite your resolve, unite your hearts, may your spirits be at one, that you may long dwell in unity and concord!"
"Peace, peace, peace be unto all"
This prayer has been around since the year 1787....All well, till yesterday when this prayer was recited by a Hindu chaplain in the US Senate.
Now Witness this:
"False Prayer" protested someone
"Lord Jesus, protect us from this abomination" shouted one,
"Lord Jesus, forgive us father for allowing a prayer of the wicked, which is an abomination in your sight," screamed another.
"This is an abomination. We shall have no other gods before you." yet another
"No Lord but Jesus Christ!" and "There's only one true God!"....and as the hypocricy of a so called civilized American society all-but poured through,it revealed a shame-faced nation with Fad Beliefs
Sounds like something out of a Theatre right?
But this is exactly what the western society has been doing from time immemorial...curb the rights of others and practice your own, all in the name of civilization !!!
They say they want more religion in the public square, but it's clear they mean only their religion.
This is the kind of voices and statements which induce terrorism and aid in radicalising the society.
Every individual has a right to practice their religion or lack of one.The day they "actually" understand this, we will not have any terrorism anywhere in the world.
