Now this sounds very very French right? That's what I meant it to be from the first word go ....
Just got my first offer for establishing myself and going up the escalade.
In French it means CLIMBING ...And that's what I intend to do now.
And no, I m not climbing up the Belledonne,or the Vercors,or the Chartreuse. This is a steep climb up the rungs of the professional ladder I was so very keen to perform.
Now that the bird is in my hand, it is but natural to get apprehensions about the bushy way;More so when the Boss says,it's gonna be difficult and a challenge for you to manage people in English when they are so much French in culture and attitude. They would speak in English only out of compulsions of the game.
Well that sounds scary enough.
But I am going to put my best foot forward as always.
Never really cared about the results, coz this has been so much hard-wired in me as a result of my upbringing.
It was always taught to us that "Go and Face the world with all the Gear that you have, no matter what the outcome of the rendezvous."
Sounds harsh but that is the best teaching I could imbibe in me from my Convent days.
Wish I could find some good friends like back home and then life would be so much more fun and Maverick would be more eager to take up linguistic challenges in a foreign land.
Neverthelss, Maverick has ARRIVED and intends to STAY

Best Wishes for the new assignments
Speak to them in Hindi: might get better results.
I don't know how I reached your blog but here I am now! Do you like poetry?
Yeah I love poetry, and do some scribbling of my own too.
