6 for Snuffing 7

Guys m back.

This is too sad and upsetting for me to blog.

Just read news about a certain Mr Pareira getting six-months of Jail for snuffing out the lives of 7 hapless souls peacefully sleeping after a long and hard day.

The culprit has been held guilty of a lesser offence and handed out six-months of SIMPLE IMPRISONMENT !
Now what in God's name is that supposed to mean? We seem to have lost all our sensibilities in deciding what is as serious offense.

Is killing 7 people with rash and negligent driving not serious enough? If not, then what else is?

Six months only, for SNUFFING life out of a human being?
Isn't it about time that our judiciary decides their focus while doling out irresponsible judgements?
This only serves to convey a very misleading message to the society.
I was absolutely stunned to read the pathetic rendition of the punishment handed out to the guy.

What about the victims's families? Who is there to support them now?
Will this guy be able to understand the seriousness of his crime by serving a six-months of sentence???

Not much is left to think about the state of affairs in India. The judiciary is sold out anyway...
