Very recently, on one of my trip to the mountains around me,I marked my presence at a Church (eglise). It turned out to be a surreal experience. There in the path leading upto the steps of the church, there was the once a year "Brocante". For those in India, it could translate to the usual 'haat'albeit with a little difference. Here were people selling out their antiques, crockery, furniture, books etc at throwaway prices.Apart from being extremely interesting, it was also a tryst with history. I was able to see some very atypical items with a distinct European taste. While casually browsing through the striking display of collections, I came across the LP's !Now for most of us in India, it dates back to the 80's when we were able to easily find LP Players. My parents had one too, and now I regret the fact that with the passage of time we lost interest in the player.Eventually it was gifted away to some relative. Today when I saw those Musical discs on display, it hit me somewhere deep that it is a part of my history which I had conveniently erased. How I wished that I still had that player with me today.
Nothing could beat the sheer euphoria which one would derive after listening to them.
That was Original Soundtrack !
