Reading Mistry

I have finally finished reading "A Fine Balance" by Rohinton Mistry.

The Book has been a disturbing event in my life.
Trying to read it while soaking myself in the bathtub took the heat away from the water. When I tried to read it while on the bed, sleep abandoned me. A last try to read it in the Tram while on my way home , made sure that I missed my destination.

This goes on to prove the all engrossing plot of the book. This was my first outing with Mistry and what a journey it has been.
I could never have imagined that life could be so dramatic and yet make you happy.
The events traced in the book are all too familiar.

It was a definite Soul-feed after reading some very irritating books like Alchemy of Desire by Tarun Tejpal. It completely spooked me out.
Rohinton Mistry is a class apart.

The book completely lacks all the flowery mush and useless trappings of words which can only be understood with a dictionary.

To conclude, it is a must read.
